Novojuris Legal expands global footprint with offices in USA

NovoJuris Legal has announced its international expansion with the inauguration of two offices in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania in the United States of America (USA).

The US entity, NovoJuris Legal LLC, has two Partners - Richard Devlin and Harsha Venkatesh.

NovoJuris founder Sharda Balaji will drive the strategic growth and development of the US offices.

The key areas of NovoJuris Legal LLC include India Entry strategies, Corporate Governance, Private Financings, Immigration Laws, Investments & Cap table Matters, Commercial Contracts and Mergers & Acquisitions.

While Devlin will operate from Pennsylvania and focus on corporate and commercial transactions for companies conducting business in the US, Venkatesh will be based in New Jersey and will focus on Human Resources and US Immigration.

Devlin has previously served as an inside counsel for several corporations in the technology, SaaS and investment services industries. Before that, he was a senior associate at the global law firm Reed Smith LLP in Philadelphia. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and the Association of Corporate Counsel, Greater Philadelphia Chapter. He has also served as an advisory board member to two early-stage start-up enterprises.

Venkatesh has handled thousands of petitions and gained expertise across several visa categories such as H1B, L1A, O and P visas, as well as US Permanent Residency. Her practice has clients in Bio-Pharma, IT & ITES, Media and Entertainment, Automotive Design Engineering and Education verticals in the USA, India, South Korea and Japan.

Commenting on the opening of the US offices, Balaji said in a press release,
