After four years in partnership as Anand & Anand & Khimani, Anand and Anand (Mumbai) and Priyanka Khimani have decided to amicably part ways.

The dissolution process was mutually agreed upon and swiftly concluded, effective September 1, 2021.

Anand & Anand & Khimani had moved into a bigger office at Nariman Point within 7 months of partnership and had also opened an office at Bandra to celebrate 2 years of the firm.

Priyanka Khimani, who led Anand & Anand & Khimani’s practice since 2017, will now operate under her firm’s earlier avatar – Khimani & Associates – along with her team as a full-service law firm with a bent towards the media and entertainment arena. Most of her team, including the practice leads, are women lawyers.

Anand & Anand will shortly announce its new entity for Mumbai.

On the dissolution of the partnership, Priyanka Khimani said,

“It has been a pleasure to work with Mr. Anand and be guided by his experience. Though the partnership has run its course, I’m glad that we have amicably reached an understanding to pursue our respective dreams.”
