Radhika Raman joins Phoenix Legal as Partner to lead Derivatives practice

Raman will operate out of the firm’s Mumbai office.

Radhika Raman has joined Phoenix Legal as a Partner at the Firm's Mumbai office to lead the firm's Derivatives Practice and further strengthen its Banking and Finance Practice.

Raman is a 2009 alumna of National Law Institute University, Bhopal. She earned her LLM from Columbia University School of Law, New York. She has also done advanced courses in Systemic Risk & Banking Regulations from Columbia Law School’s Transactional Studies Centre.

With over 15 years of extensive experience advising domestic and international financial institutions, corporates, investment funds, hedge funds, and clearing corporations, Raman has deep expertise in OTC Derivatives, Prime Brokerage, ISDA Documentation, regulatory matters and complex financing transactions including Debt Capital Market and Offshore Bond Issuances. Her practice spans a wide range of asset classes and markets, and she is recognized for her ability to navigate sophisticated structures with clarity and commercial acumen.

Radhika has previously worked with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Mumbai, Quadrangle Consulting LLC, New York and ICICI Bank Pvt. LTD, (Corporate Legal Group), Mumbai. Prior to joining Phoenix Legal, she operated her own firm, RRSA Legal.
