Shashank Kumar has joined the GMR Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. as Chief Legal Officer in Corporate Function.

Kumar is a 1999 graduate of Campus Law Centre, Faculty Of Law, University of Delhi.

With over 26 years of experience in the power, steel, renewable energy, infrastructure, and media sectors, Kumar has driven strategic legal and regulatory initiatives, managed complex transactions, and contributed to the growth and risk mitigation of numerous leading organizations.

He has held leadership roles in prominent organizations such as Bennett, Coleman & Co., Adani Power and Jindal Steel, and most recently, Sembcorp India.

At GMR, Kumar will be strengthening legal strategy, compliance and risk management of the Company.
