Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) Corporate Partners Anchal Dhir and Shubham Rastogi are joining Anagram Partners.

Confirming the exit, CAM Managing Partner Cyril Shroff said,

“Anchal is an excellent lawyer and great human being. I have had the privilege of mentoring her for 2 decades. And will continue to do so.

I wish her the very best in life. We will miss her at CAM.“

A 2007 alumna of NALSAR, Hyderabad, Dhir has nearly two decades of experience advising major Indian conglomerates, global corporations and private equity clients on a wide variety of transactions, including control acquisitions and exits, PIPE deals, corporate restructurings and joint ventures.

She started her career at the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas and has been with firm ever since.

Rastogi is a 2017 graduate of Symbiosis Law School. With nearly 9 years of experience, he provides advice and representation to a diverse range of clients including corporates, promoter groups, family offices, private equity funds, and their portfolio companies, on various transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, divestments, takeovers, fundraising, de-listings and exits, with a special focus on transactions involving listed entities.

He started his career at CAM as an Associate in 2017 and was made Partner last year.

Along with Dhir and Rastogi, Varun Kannan (Senior Associate) and Swini Khara (Senior Associate) are also moving from CAM to Anagram Partners.

Commenting on their move, Dhir said,

"Anagram’s approach to building a focused, high-quality corporate practice, anchored in disciplined execution and collaboration, resonates strongly with me. I look forward to working with the team to continue building a trusted corporate and transactional practice."

Speaking on her exit from CAM, she added,

"CAM has been the only professional home I have ever known, and I am deeply grateful for that. Mr. Shroff’s mentorship has shaped me as the lawyer I am today. I leave with enormous respect for the firm, its people, and everything it stands for."

Shuva Mandal, Partner, Anagram Partners, commented,

"Anchal’s induction to the partnership is a significant step in strengthening our corporate practice. Her leadership and approach align closely with our core principles — delivering clear, simplified solutions with a high standard of excellence. Together, she and her team will add meaningful depth and capability to the practice."

Earlier this week, CAM Northern Region Head Ajay Sawhney exited the firm to join AZB & Partners, along with four other Partners.
